Sporting Age

Leadership Team

We are a passionate team of physical education specialists dedicated to building technology to improve young people’s movement skills in school and help transform their lives. Whilst for us this is a serious business, for pupils we feel this doesn’t have to be. We believe that young people will reach their movement potential if they are encouraged to be included, have fun and feel empowered, with stage-appropriate content along the way.

Shaun Fox

Shaun Fox

CEO

Following a successful 20 year career as PE teacher, Head of PE and Partnership Development Manager, Shaun founded Legacy Sport in 2011. The social enterprise has had a positive impact on the health and well-being of more than 80,000 primary school pupils to date. Throughout this time Shaun regularly observed that the development of Fundamental Movement Skills was crucial to allow children to make progress but it proved difficult to evidence this progress.

A mission to improve movement skills, demonstrate impact and increase the confidence of teachers led to the birth of Sporting Age in 2016. Shaun has led a team of dedicated professionals who have made Sporting Age the unique, game changing programme that exists today.
